The United Church of God is a nondenominational Christian Church that offers free Bible study courses and other publications. This is one of the ways the Church works zealously to complete its mission of spreading the true gospel of the Kingdom of God. With open arms, the Church welcomes all who desire to learn the truth, to obey God and to fellowship with others of like mind and spirit.

The Church uses several innovative and progressive approaches in working toward the completion of its mission. There are congregations around the world and the numbers continue to grow. Sermons and presentations are often recorded and shared on the Internet, TV and radio. Numerous publications are offered, all free of charge. This Christian church offers free booklets designed to help the Church with its mission of proclaiming to the world the little understood gospel taught by Jesus Christ, the glorious news of the Kingdom of Heaven, and preparing a people to serve in that Kingdom.

The United Church of God realizes that it has a huge mission before it and that it can only be successful in that mission if it can get the message out to the people who want to hear it. The Church also knows that its success is due to God’s help in allowing it to work in the right way at the right time with the right people. That’s one of the reasons that the Church takes on the responsibility to spread the true gospel in as many ways as possible.

Many people have shared that they find the Bible difficult and confusing to read; that it’s hard to understand. This often leads to frustration and the result is that the reader simply gives up and puts the Bible aside. This is a sad ending to a noble quest. To help explain confusing scriptures, the United Church of God offers an online Bible study. This course teaches the proper approach and attitude one should have when reading the Bible, as well as the importance of learning about unfamiliar terms or words. Because the study is broken down in small segments that are fully explained, the student has an opportunity to gain complete understanding at his or her own pace before moving on. This online course is just another way that the Church works toward its goal of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
